Call for Papers: IASIA–MENAPAR Dialogue 2026 – Building State Capacity in the MENA Region for a New Era

Diogo Pereira,

IASIA and MENAPAR invite researchers, educators, practitioners, policymakers and institutional leaders to contribute to the IASIA–MENAPAR Dialogue 2026, taking place in Athens from 12 to 16 October 2026, as a joint event with the IASIA 2026 Annual Conference.

Under the theme “Building State Capacity in the MENA Region for a New Era,” the Dialogue will examine how public administration education and training can evolve to strengthen capable institutions, prepare the future public workforce and support responsible, citizen-centred digital transformation.

The programme will bring together Global and MENA perspectives through research sessions and Research–Policy Roundtables, connecting academic evidence and institutional experience with practical policy and cooperation priorities.

Contributions are invited under two research themes: Public Sector Training, Skills Development and Future Workforce Readiness, and AI-Enabled Governance, Institutional Capacity and Citizen-Centered Service Transformation. The Dialogue will also explore opportunities for broader international cooperation in research, executive education, knowledge exchange and institutional capacity development.

Abstracts of up to 500 words must be submitted through the IASIA 2026 ConfTool platform by 24 August 2026. Accepted authors must register for the IASIA 2026 Annual Conference by 15 September.

There is no separate registration fee for the IASIA–MENAPAR Dialogue; participation is included through registration for the IASIA 2026 Annual Conference.

Submit your contribution and join the dialogue in Athens.
